How your personal data is handled when you use the BluePass mobile app.
In short:BluePass can only be used if you are affiliated with an institution (school, workplace, etc.) that runs an AVES access-control system. The email address you enter at registration never reaches AVES Elektronik — it is sent directly to your institution's own web service, and matching happens there. AVES Elektronik does not see, process, or store that email address. The app does not collect any other personal data.
1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the BluePass mobile app, developed by AVES Elektronik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("AVES Elektronik", "we"). BluePass is a mobile identity-verification app that can only be used by users affiliated with an institution (school, workplace, etc.) that runs an AVES access-control system; it is not possible to register without such an affiliation.
2. Data We Collect
The email addressyou enter when registering in BluePass is sent directly to your institution's own web service, not to AVES Elektronik. Matching is performed entirely within the institution's own system. As a result, AVES Elektronik never sees, processes, or stores your email address.
The app does not collect location, device identifiers, contacts, camera, media, or any other category of data either.
3. How Institution Matching Works
To register in BluePass, you must first be affiliated with an institution (school, workplace, etc.) that runs AVES access-control infrastructure. The email address you enter is sent by the app directly to that institution's own web service; matching is performed by the institution's own system, against records (students, staff, visitors, etc.) it already holds. AVES Elektronik only provides the technical infrastructure that lets the app connect to your institution's service — we do not process, transmit, or store your email address at any point.
4. Data Sharing
Since your email address never reaches AVES Elektronik in the first place, there is nothing for us to share with a third party. How your institution handles that data is governed by your institution's own privacy policy.
5. Data Retention and Security
Your record is held on your institution's own web service and is subject to that institution's own security and privacy practices. AVES Elektronik does not store this data on its own infrastructure. If you would like your record deleted, you should contact your institution directly.
6. Your Rights
Because your email address is held in your institution's own system, you should exercise the following rights with your institution:
- Find out what data is held about you (only your email address)
- Request deletion of your record
- Raise any questions about your record
